Children are very comfortable now with colors [लाल हरा नीला पीला काला सफ़ेद भूरा बैंगनी केसरी गुलाबी सोना चांदी ), numbers ( 1- 10), and alphabets from अ through ऐ.
We introduced and practiced a new letter ओ and associated it with the word ॐ (ओम )
We expanded our vocabulary with birds/animals. Learned new
words like हाथी (elephant), गाय (cow ), खरगोश (squirrel ), मोर (peacock
), मोरनी (peahen ), शेर (lion ), कुत्ता (dog ), बिल्ली (cat ), तॊ ता (parrot )
We then went into sentence forming with the words we knew using a fun game called "Jungle mein" (जंगल में )
The rule of the game is:- I would say the English equivalent of a color and animal/bird like
red cow and the child will say जंगल में
लाल गाय है . This game was a big hit and we played several rounds with many combinations.
Please practice this game at home.
We then watched videos and sang along the 2 rhymes that kids are familiar with by now. Please watch at home and have them practice.
